PLPA Annual Meeting – Old Town Hall, Deerfield
Church St., Deerfield, NH
Saturday, July 27th, 2019 – 9 AM -11 AM
The doors will open at 8:30. Join us then for a chance to welcome old friends back to the lake and to meet new residents.
The meeting will begin at 9:00 AM with our guest speakers. The business meeting will follow a short intermission. Note there will also be a children’s program upstairs during the annual meeting.
Gary Anderson: Gary, a long time resident on Pleasant Lake, admits that he is not an historian . . . but he is related to one. His professional experience is producing films and television for educational and commercial audiences. So, basically, he is a story-teller. He brings that experience to the chaotic turns of history, specifically as it applies to our small area of New Hampshire. In his presentation Gary will attempt to shed some light on the future of Pleasant Lake by describing how we got to where we are now.
Tom O’Brien, President, New Hampshire Lakes Association: Tom has been the President of NH LAKES since 2011, He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has worked in natural resource management and water resource protection “his entire adult life”. Tom will provide us with an overview of the NH LAKES Association Charter, recent actions that
have impacted our and other lakes in NH and priorities for 2019.
